木のくまさんのペンダント作り
木の色味を生かしたくまさんのフェイスペンダント（マグネット付き）の組み立てとオイル塗装。
（10:00~,11:00~,13:00~,14:00~,15:00~ 当日受付／各回定員5名）

作業対象年齢：小学3年生以下は保護者同伴
所要時間：約30分
参加費：1,500円税込
※汚れても良い服装でご参加ください

◆この作品展について　
　長野県在住の木工作家、中川岳二の寄木作品を紹介します。
　中川の作品は、樹木の色や木目を生かし、その組み合わせにより模様などを表現する寄木（よせぎ）・木象嵌（もくぞうがん）という伝統的かつ高度な技術で制作されています。親しみやすく現代感覚に溢れた造形から幅広い世代の支持を受け、国内外から注目されています。武蔵野美術大学造形学部工芸工業デザイン学科木工専攻を卒業後、二〇〇一年に埼玉県から父親の生家のある長野県中野市へ移住し、制作活動と県内外での作品発表を続けています。
今回の作品のテーマは「昔話から飛び出した木のキャラクターたちの物語」小さなお子さまから大人まで、見る人の想像力をどこまでも膨らませることでしょう。

Thanks to your support, there are often many people lining up on the first day of the solo exhibition,
so this time we will be selling as follows.

・Purchases will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

・Numbered tickets will be distributed at the venue from 8:30 am.

・Sales will start from 9:30 am. Sales will end as soon as the works are sold out. Even if you have a numbered ticket, you may not be able to purchase.

・Due to venue restrictions, we apologize for the inconvenience, but you will have to wait in line outside until 8:30. Please take measures to prevent heatstroke, such as staying protected from the sun and staying hydrated.

・Please check the prices of the works at the exhibition venue.

“Making a wooden bear pendant”
Assembling and oil painting a “bear face pendant (with magnet)”.
(Registration on the day from 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 / Maximum of 5 people per session)

Age range: 3rd grade and under must be accompanied by a guardian

Time required: Approximately 30 minutes

Participation fee: 1,500 yen (tax included)

*Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty

(The artist will be absent in the morning of the 17th)

About this exhibition

Introducing the marquetry works of Takeji Nakagawa, a woodworker living in Nagano Prefecture.

Nakagawa’s works are created using the traditional and advanced techniques of marquetry and wood inlay, which make use of the color and grain of trees and express patterns by combining them. The familiar yet modern shapes have been supported by a wide range of generations and have attracted attention both from within Japan and overseas. After graduating from Musashino Art University’s Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Craft and Industrial Design, majoring in woodworking, he moved from Saitama Prefecture to Nakano City, Nagano Prefecture, where his father was born, in 2001, and has continued to create works and exhibit them both in and outside the prefecture.
The theme of his latest work is “A tale of wooden characters coming out of fairy tales,” and is sure to inspire the imagination of viewers of all ages, from small children to adults.
